Fresh Gardens is a family-owned farm in the historic Redland growing area of Homestead, Florida, home to more than 1,000 tropical fruit trees. Farmer Bob and his family grow golden passion fruit, longan, lychee, guava, carambola, and dragon fruit, and love sharing the farm through tours, u-pick, and fresh fruit sales.

What fruit do you grow, and what's in season right now?
Our specialties are golden passion fruit, longan, lychee, guava, carambola (starfruit), and dragon fruit, plus mango, avocado, papaya, kumquat, and pomelo. Availability changes with the season — lychee and mango peak in summer, passion fruit runs spring through fall — so call ahead or ask me to take a message and Farmer Bob can tell you exactly what's ready.
Do you offer farm tours?
Yes! A guided tour of our 1,000+ tropical trees is $12 per person or $40 per family, by appointment. Call (305) 245-8388 and ask for Farmer Bob, or leave your name and number and he'll set it up.
Can I pick my own fruit (u-pick)?
We offer u-pick when fruit is in season and ready to harvest. Availability varies week to week, so please call ahead to confirm what's pickable before you come out.
How do I buy your fruit?
Three ways: order online through our store for pickup or shipping, stop by our farm stand for fresh-picked fruit, or come u-pick in season. Ask me and I'll share the online store link.
